Life just doesn’t get any sweeter than when Cadence cuddles up next to you and rests his head on your lap. He is a playful, gentle soul who bonds very closely with his person. Still a puppy, Cadence loves to play with other dogs and enjoys rambunctious play with the female dog in his foster home. He is also great with the resident cat and just ignores the kitty or shows gentle curiosity. He sleeps in a crate at night but really wants the crate to be in the room with his person. He’s learning his basic commands (sit, come, off, etc) and leash skills. He’s eager to please and food motivated, too.
He’s a border-collie-sized cattle dog mix (estimated 35-40 lbs when full grown) with luxuriously silky short fur and the sweetest brown eyes you will ever see. If his gaze doesn’t get you, his perfectly floppy ears will!
When meeting Cadence, keep in mind he is shy around strangers and likely won’t be immediately interested in interacting with new people. He is more comfortable with women. His adopter will need to be patient and give him time to show his loving, silly, sweet-as-pie self. Once you’re in, your in though–BFFs forever–and he will be devoted to his person like no other.
Cadence is available to adopt through Fosters and Paws, at https://fostersandpaws.org
